John Rowane Memorial Library

The Irish Family History Forum Library was organized in 1991 and later named after the organization's Founding President. The Library consists of over 300 items including: books, audio and video tapes, pamphlets, reference materials, journals, newsletters, etc. of general and Irish-related genealogical significance. Our collection is rapidly growing and expanding through the generous donations of funds and books from members and historians.

The library is housed at the Family History Center, 160 Washington Avenue, Plainview, NY and is open on General Meeting days from 11:30 A.M. to 12:45 P.M.. Borrowing privileges are limited to IFHF members, and only during this time period. Sorry, but books may not be borrowed via mail under any circumstances.
